Welcome to Dore & Totley Golf Club, a parkland course situated on the border of South Yorkshire and North East Derbyshire. Our club boasts 23 holes that combine the 18 original ones with five new holes opened in 2005. This gives the luxury of winter and summer golf for members and visitors to enjoy. The shorter winter course is a par 69 (5,605yds) whilst the summer is a par 72 (6.763yds).
2013 is our centenary year when we remember and thank the founder members who started creating the course on land owned by one of their number (Mr W Sylvester) in 1912. Six holes were created in the first year and the final 12 finished in June 1913. (Further history can be found elsewhere on this website).
Dore & Totley is participating in reciprocal courtesy round deals with other 2013 Centenary Clubs - more information on the Centenary Tab.
Panoramic views of the course and beyond in to Derbyshire can be enjoyed from the clubhouse whilst inside we offer a well-stocked bar, food, snooker, TV and Wi-Fi, and full catering facilities.
Private parties as well as day to day visitors, societies and corporate events can all be facilitated in consultation with the Secretary and Catering Manager.
Gregg Roberts and his assistants Martin Robinson and Tom Rowland are available in the Pro Shop to offer help in choosing equipment and clothing as well as bookings for lessons and golf. Hand pull and battery carts as well as a limited number of buggies are available to hire. (Note: Buggies need to be pre-booked and as well as privately owned ones are subject to course conditions and Club’s Buggy Policy).
We hope you enjoy the club and the course, and that you are able to support our Centenary Events.
